An online calendar is an script that you install and allows you to share certain events with your website visitors.
This is a great tool if you operate a website that offers a service or use it to announce product releases. An online calendar that I use often is at the website of a computer training center. They offer classes on Photoshop, CSS, Illustrator, etc. If I'm curious about any upcoming classes I just jump on their website and look at their online calendar. This saves them time because they don't need anyone to provide the schedule over the phone.
