Ah, the French Riviera. That's where I'm going when my blog starts doling out huge wads of cash. Many bloggers dream of such a thing. They'll do their regular blogger thing, but will sell ad space. Then, they will be rich, and will move to France. Sounds nice to me.
Seriously though, blogs benefit from ads. Many new bloggers have no problem tossing in a few AdSense codes here and there, and those work. They bring it a little change here and there, and you start feeling like a success.
Once a blog grows in size, has regular traffic, and a clear niche, there's no reason not to seek out sponsors.
In fact, blog sponsorship is one of the ways bloggers make real revenue from their work. They offer ad space here and there to relevant companies or blogs (usually on a one month basis), and they make a little cash. Sweet!
But, it takes work. How do you find sponsors? On the technical side, how do you actually give out that ad space, set rates, invoice clients, and really get everything set up?
Answer: Passionfruit Ads.
I was reading a few blogs one day, and stumbled upon one with a Press page that featured these nifty little icons. They said how many ads were available, what they did, how much they cost, and how long they'd last. Basically, I could buy sponsorship on that blog right there with absolutely no fuss.
Of course, I hunted for links, found the program the blogger used, and fell in love with Passionfruit Ads.
Subsequently, I've set up my own account and am thrilled to attest that it's ridiculously easy. Although it took a minute to verify my website, the rest of the process is a breeze.
How does Passionfruit Ads work?
Well, Passionfruit Ads do take a small chunk of your earnings to offer their service, but that's not always the case. If you set your ads to free, it allows you to do ad exchanges or swaps with other bloggers across the web.
Once you verify your site, you specify ad spaces on various parts of your website. Then, you paste the code necessary for those ads to show up. Write ads for those areas, set prices and other settings (like how many ads will rotate through, which determines how many sponsors you can have for those spots), and then paste the code on your sales page.
It's really that easy.
It took me about 30 minutes to set up everything, and I'm thrilled with the professionalism and ease that Passionfruit Ads bring to the table.
Everything's in one spot and it's easy for me, sponsors, and readers. I'm happy to recommend Passionfruit Ads to absolutely anyone out there, and hope you'll use it for your blog advertising efforts!
